What it is

Coverage that starts with a survey.

Wireless networking is the design and installation of Wi-Fi that gives reliable, secure access across an office, a multi-floor building or a campus. Done properly, it starts with a survey of the building, not a box from a shop.

wifi

In short

Wi-Fi designed from a real site survey, not a router bought off a shelf.

What AVGN does

Five parts of the design.

search

Site survey

Surveys the site and produces a coverage plan

Business-grade access points

Selects business-grade access points with central management

cable

Proper cabling

Installs with proper cabling and PoE switching

lan

Network separation

Separates networks for staff, guests and devices

monitoring

Coverage tuning

Tunes coverage after installation by walking every floor

How it works

Four steps to full coverage.

  • STEP 1Survey

Floor plans, walls, existing cabling and device count per area.

  • STEP 2Design

Access-point count and positions, the switch and cabling needed.

  • STEP 3Install

Cabling to each position, PoE switch, access points mounted and adopted.

  • STEP 4Test and hand over

A walk of every area with a meter; a coverage map delivered.

lightbulb

Example. A hotel in Navi Mumbai with 60 rooms over five floors has one router per floor and constant guest complaints. The survey shows dead zones at the corridor ends and two floors on the same channel. We install twelve access points on a PoE switch, create a guest network with a simple sign-in and a separate staff network for the property system, and walk every room with a meter. Reception stops receiving Wi-Fi complaints, and housekeeping tablets work in every room.

Who it’s for

For buildings a router cannot cover.

Offices with more than about twenty people, schools, hotels, hospitals and warehouses, and any building where a single router is being asked to do a job it was not built for.

FAQs

Questions about Wi-Fi.

How many access points do we need? expand_more

It depends on walls, floors and device density more than floor area, which is why we survey first. The design tells you the number and the reason.

Can guests be kept away from our office systems? expand_more

Yes. Guests get their own network that reaches the internet and nothing else, with a sign-in and a time limit if you want one.
